Concerning resources, these places (physical and online) are sme of the few that I am familiar with and were very helpful in my personal artistic journey (which mostly concerns writing and publishing). Personally, I find that no one has all the answers but everyone has some answers, so I frequent writing communities to find out the infomation I need and I'm sharing the ones that I found to be useful.
