I.A.M has weekly enrichment programs with the interest of appreciating and creating good art for the communities consumption. There are four programs, each with a different focus, each meeting once per month. To get the most out of the process, ideally, an artist should attend all four programs as each will may be helpful in a different way. The first week of the month EARelevance meets, the second week, EYEdentification meets, the third week Everything Written By Me, and the fourth week ReMemories. The descriptions of the programs are below. For locations and times join the I.A.M. email list (form on home page - click here) as it will have updates concerning each program such as what book, what film, and what topic is being discussed. |

EARelevance is one part think tank, and one part conceptual writing group. The purpose of this program is to further the understanding, meaning, and the purpose of art by stripping away the mystery behind it and the way it is used. By engaging in the disciplined study of art, our intention is it will lead to the informed production of art that is relevant in its purpose to whichever community it is intended. EARelevance wholeheartedly supports the view that art is more than a means of escape or entertainment, so we apply that to the art we analyze and the art we produce. EyeDentification Film Group is dedicated to examining the work of relevant artists with the purpose of evaluating their perspective, testing the writer’s point of view, and analyzing key concepts that affect our own. Just as with EARelevance each piece, in this case film, is analyzed beyond aesthetics and interogated for its meaning. Once a meaning is determined, the relevance of the meaning upon the present community is also tested. For more on EyeDentification click here. |

| Everything Written By Me is a technical writing group and the most output driven of all the programs. All of the other programs are based upon the output of someone else (the writer, film, or work discussed) and those involved comment. EWBM, on the other hand, is based completely on the work of the group, works in progress, or completed works. The reason for the exposure in the other groups is to encourage production from those involved, and EWBM is where the production is shared and measured. Writing techniques and rules will also be given for those that desire such, but all lessons will be given in the context of completed and in-progress works. For more on EWBM click here. | ReMemories Literary Club is dedicated to examining the works of relevant artists with the purpose of evaluating their perspective, testing the writer's point of view, and analyzing key concepts that affect our own. The principle intention is to leav with a comprehensive knowledge of the ideas and writing, and to achieve a level of critical reading that reaches beyond basic recollection, but an actual understanding of the book.
