The organizations affiliated with Artmove offer business services to artists. The goal is to assist in making the final product look just as good as the products already on the market that had thousands invested, but just for a fraction of the cost. The independent artist has much more freedom to express his or herself honestly, therefore the message that have is much more of use to the community than the mega artists from another corner of the country that comes and fills the stadium, makes his or her presentation then goes home. Although that is what art has become that is not what art is about, and that is not the formula for creating a measurable change within our communities. Surely this orientation to how art is viewed will not change overnight, but in the meantime, the smaller artists must do their best to make sure their completed works are comparable to those "professional" works and that is where these organization come into play. They are run by artists who themselves have sacrificed to learn about the industries that they assist in.

Works In Progress is an organization formed to help those who haven't the means to produce the art that they wish to. Good supplies and good instruction are no longer standard in most public curriculums, and many would be artists cannot reach their potential because they were able to acquire the tools. With the Works In Progress the working artists can help those that are interested in their fields of production and make sure that they have the tools and techniques necessary to make the biggest impact.
