Artsmove is the home of the Institute of Art and Morality, the philosophical body behind the International Artistic Movement. The I.A.M. is centered around the use of the arts beyond entertainment, and instead using them as vehicles for change. "Simple entertainment should be reserved for societies that have reached their epoch, and societies that have not should be driven with more of a purpose in every industry including the arts" is the opinion of the I.A.M. It is work that will take years, if not decades, if not generations, but a standard must exist by which social progress can be measured and throughout history there has been no institution as honest and as universally accessible as the arts. Art has meaning beyond entertainment and commerce, and it is the mission of the I.A.M. to preserve that meaning.
